Mitt Romney may not have won the presidency, but he did just land a new job.
Romney has decided to return to his former position on the Board of Directors of Marriott International. Having a regular job should help Mitt conquer the doldrums he’s reportedly been in after losing the November 6th election.
For his efforts, Romney will receive a base pay of $60,000 per year. He will also get $110,000 worth of Marriott stock and $1300 for every meeting he physically attends.
This petty salary is nowhere near what Mitt’s used to making from his days at Bain Capital, but hey, it’s a living!
