This incredible man was taken from Us at the young age of 39. When I consider ALL that he accomplished in his short life (especially given the times he lived in and the ever-present risk to his life and that of his family), I still marvel at what the young man had to have been made of, on the inside.
No. He was not a perfect man and he never claimed to be. But he was a Man who genuinely cared about ALL of his fellow-men (and women), no matter the color of their skin. Indeed, he was a Man for ALL ages.
And though I was a child when he was assassinated, he remains among the top three Greatest men in My lifetime.
