Kathy Perkins, founder of the group “Moms With Guns,” recently posted a photo on her Facebook page of President Obama visiting Texas. Although the pic itself was harmless, the caption Perkins chose to add was not:
“Where is an assasin (sic) when you need one?”
Hmmm…
If that wasn’t enough, someone named Casey Hindman actually replied to Perkins, saying “Would you like me to send you a link? Message me later and I’ll let you know where you can pick one up.”

Apparently Kathy Perkins and Casey Hindman were both simultaneously ignorant to the fact that no matter how much you might dislike his politics, there are serious repercussions to making verbal or written threats against the President of the United States. Perkins was also ignorant to believe that the damage from her actions would magically go away if she simply removed the post and shut down the “Moms With Guns” Facebook page. Oh, Kathy… That’s not quite how it works!
The “Moms With Guns” website (“Because an armed society is a safe society“) states as their mission:
“By Remaining Armed Moms of America We will NOT be Victims!!! Our Mission is to Normalize the Open Carrying Of FireArms(sic) in the State of Texas and Inspire Other States to Normalize the same. We are Law Abiding Citizens of this Great Republic of the United States of America from ALL walks of life.”
Sorry, Kathy, but those words won’t mean a hill of beans if the Secret Service decides the world would be a better place with you behind bars!
