The news just seems to keep getting worse for golf pro Tiger Woods.
Not only have a seemingly infinite number of women come forward to say they were part of Tiger’s “Den,” police are now peering back into his Thanksgiving night accident amid reports that Tiger may have actually been under the influence of alcohol and/or prescription drugs after all. Police failed to administer a breathalyzer or urine test to Woods, despite the erratic path of his accident, and the fact Woods was (oddly) asleep on the ground and snoring only moments after crashing his expensive SUV.
But Tiger isn’t the only one taking heat these days over this compelling and still unfolding story. NBC’s Saturday Night Live is on the hot seat for a comedic skit this past weekend, which made light of likely domestic violence between Mr. and Mrs. Woods. Domestic violence groups have come forward to say this is not a laughing matter and should not be parodied. They also pointed out that the skit was especially in poor taste, in light of SNL’s musical guest Rihanna, who was a victim of domestic violence earlier this year involving former boyfriend Chris Brown. But others are saying it was merely a joke… get over it!
