MUSLIMS, NYPD, & THE CIA

Spread The Love

Anti-Muslim sentiment and mistrust in New York City has been exceptionally high since the events of 9/11.  But you’ll be surprised to learn just how over the top it has really been.

The NYPD has been caught using an anti-Muslim film to train its officers — a film which features a cameo appearance by none other than NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly!

“The Third Jihad” shows images of Muslims shooting Christians, car bombs exploding and even a doctored photograph of an Islamic flag flying over the White House. Sounds spooky, huh?  Well, that is exactly how it was intended to be.  But Muslim groups are crying foul for being collectively depicted as murderers and terrorists, prompting New York City officials to clamor for a valid explanation.

According to the NYPD, the feature-length film, which was funded by right-wing non-profit group the Clarion Fund, was only shown to trainees and officers “a couple of times.” But newly released documents reveal it was actually shown continuously to trainees “during the sign-in, medical and administrative orientation process.”  In fact, it was discovered that the NYPD continued to show the film over a period between 3 months to 1 year to 68 lieutenants, 159 sergeants, 31 detectives and 1231 patrol officers.

But wait, there’s more…

The CIA says it is embarrassed it placed an operative within the NYPD right after the 9/11 attacks to spy on Muslims — and left them there!

According to the Associated Press, “the NYPD, working in close collaboration with the CIA, set up spying operations that put Muslim communities under scrutiny. Plainclothes officers known as ‘rakers’ eavesdropped on businesses, and Muslims not suspected of any wrongdoing were put in intelligence databases.”

Muslim activists are outraged and have urged Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly to resign, saying the anti-Muslim film and now the unprecedented CIA/NYPD collaboration is reminiscent of the FBI’s COINTELPRO, which spied on political and activist groups in the 1960s and 1970s.
