My Pillow Guy Wants To Lead The RNC?

Have you heard that the My Pillow Guy wants to be the leader of the RNC?

Yes, Mike Lindell, better known as the ‘My Pillow Guy’ has announced he is a candidate to be the next chairman of the Republican National Committee. Lindell, who is a die-hard Donald Trump fanatic, has somehow convinced himself that his MAGA allegiance combined with selling pillows makes him the perfect person to run the Republican Party. Interestingly, he might be right.

“Our party has lost credibility with the base of the Republican Party and with donors. The RNC’s leadership’s strategy of ‘business as usual’ has been a disaster not only for the Party but even more importantly it has been disaster for the Country as Democrats pursue their woke socialist agenda,” the My Pillow Guy said in an email announcement of his candidacy. “With 3 failed election cycles under Ronna McDaniel, we must change course now,” he continued. “The People of our Country are begging us to lead. For that reason and more, I am excited to announce I am running for Republican National Committee Chair.”

Lindell went on to list his record as a businessman and experience in the private sector as reasons why he would be the perfect person to manage a major political party. Of course, he left out any mention of his past drug use, multiple arrest warrants, or the fact that he has zero experience in politics other than being a Trump flunkie. Still, the My Pillow Guy was not deterred and is ready to bring all of his far-right conspiracy theories and make-believe ‘the-election-was-rigged’ rhetoric along for the ride.

According to MSNBC, Mike Lindell may very well be exactly what the Republican Party deserves.

“Lindell, the Trump-worshipping, 2020 election-denying, conspiracy-peddling activist who’s been sued by Dominion Software for pushing debunked claims that Dominion’s machines manipulated vote counts to defeat his beloved Trump, is the perfect embodiment of today’s GOP,” Dean Obeidallah said in a recent MSNBC op-ed piece. 

“Don’t believe Lindell is today’s GOP? Look at the facts. A September poll found that over 60% of Republicans still maintain the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. Meanwhile, (current RNC chair Ronna) McDaniel recently stated that after recounts and all election litigation are resolved, ‘then everybody should accept the results. That’s what it should be.'”

So as to not be outdone and left out of the news cycle, losing Republican candidate for governor of Arizona, Kari Lake, threw her full support behind the My Pillow Guy to lead the RNC.

“Wish we could elect TWO Chairs for the RNC. We have GREAT candidates in both Harmeet Dhillon & Mike Lindell,” Lake tweeted on Tuesday. “President Trump saved the Republican Party—it’s time for the GOP Leadership to stand up and Fight for US!”

So, congratulations to the GOP. The face of their party (Trump) is a failed businessman with multiple bankruptcies and a 4-year political career in Washington that could soon land him in jail for leading an insurrection, stealing classified documents, and more. It actually makes sense that a one-time drug addict whose only claim to fame is selling pillows and being a Trump/MAGA sycophant should become the next RNC chair.

It would be a match made in heaven.
