The truth is, I never joined Facebook….never bought into its creator's "stated" purpose for the idea. It always seemed more like just another clever way for a guy with a gimmick (in this case, an e-social network gimmick) to make lots of $$$.And when I found out that you could have 100s_if not 1000s_of so-called "friends" you DON'T actually know and have never seen in your life??? …well, let's just say that it confirmed for me that Facebook truly ain't my cup of tea. Please understand: I'm not knocking anyone who is a Facebook member. It works for you. I'm simply saying it's not for me.

I know people with hundreds of friends on Facebook they never even speak to. Why make them a friend if that's the last time you talk to them? This maybe started as a joke but it makes sense. People sitting in your friend list that you never communicate with or hear from is silly. I'm about to go through my list now and make a few trims.
