Niecy Nash Presents: 1-844-WYT-FEAR

Spread The Love

Are you a white person who frequently gets scared and calls 911 whenever you see a black person walking, living, breathing, blinking, or otherwise existing?  Well, actress Niecy Nash has just the solution for you.

Lifestyle
It’s called 1-844-WYT-FEAR, a REAL toll-free number created in conjunction with The New York Times designed to give scared, white racists an outlet to call to vent their racism — and also gives 911 operators a break from frivolous racist calls while they’re trying to handle legitimate calls that actually save lives.

Niecy Nash and The Times created the toll-free hotline and accompanying email [email protected] to cut back on the 911 calls whites have made against a black family barbecuing, a black girl selling water, a black child mowing a lawn, 2 black men waiting for friends at Starbuck’s, a black woman using a coupon while shopping, and more.

For anyone who actually calls the hotline, they will hear a message instructing them that African-Americans are more likely to experience force in the American criminal justice system and endure longer sentences.  The phone prompts will then ask the caller to describe what “crime” they are witnessing a black person doing (such as shopping or sleeping in a dorm rec room).

“Based on your menu selection, we have determined that you are not in danger and probably just racist,” the line is prompted to say.

Check out the hilarious video created just for those white Americans who get scared every time they see a black person doing ANYTHING.  Oh, and please remember: the toll-free number and email are actually REAL.  So, the next time you see a white racist (or if you’re secretly one yourself) calling 911 on a black person living a regular life, perhaps you can suggest they use the number or email instead of the real 911 emergency number.

Wow! I had not seen or even heard about this….until now. Thanks DJ.

Makes me wanna laugh….and then cry.

To echo the sentiments of others: “This is hilarious and yet disgustingly the TRUTH at the same tine.”

Needs to be “aired on television,” – and especially on 24/7 cable news networks.
