No Experience Necessary In Trump White House

No Experience Necessary
In Trump White House
Donald Trump is perhaps the least experienced and least prepared president-in-waiting in U.S. history — so naturally, he’d want to surround himself with the most experienced top-notched officials available to an incoming Commander-In-Chief, right? WRONG! As Trump continues to name those who will assist him in governing America, he seems hell bent on sticking to a motto of NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Politics
During his campaign, “The Donald” promised that if elected, he had the Rolodex to hire the best and the brightest in the land to manage the country. Regrettably, that is proving to be a boldfaced lie.
To head the U.S. Department of Education, Trump has tapped fellow billionaire and aristocrat Betsy DeVos. Although DeVos does hold a limited background in education, her claim to fame is that she comes with NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, yet is somehow the top pick to lead a vast federal agency for the first time in her life.
For U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Trump has selected South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. Sticking with the theme NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, Haley has zero knowledge or prior experience in foreign relations and has never spent 5 minutes on the foreign policy stage. Putting Haley in charge of dealing with every foreign policy expert from every developed nation in the world is the equivalent of handing a 5-year-old the keys to an 18 wheeler. Neither one of them should be driving the ship.
As Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Trump has settled on former GOP presidential challenger Dr. Ben Carson. Although Dr. Carson is one of the preeminent neurosurgeons of our time, the fact his name would supersede all others for HUD is proof positive that Trump deems NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY as the requirement for someone charged with handling the nation’s housing challenges and the development of urban America.
As a senior White House adviser and confidant, Trump is bringing his son-in-law, Jared Kushner into the Oval Office — a man who has no prior government advisory experience, but did once run his family’s local real estate business. Consider that this is the man who could help advise Trump whether or not to send our sons and daughters into military battle. Hmmm…
“When you bring in so many friends and family into your inner circle that can easily create a circle the wagons phenomenon,” said William Galston, a former policy adviser to President Bill Clinton who now heads governance studies at the Brookings Institution. “That can have the effect of slowing or even discouraging the free flow of information on which every president depends. The last thing any president needs is a palace full of courtiers.”
Noting that Donald Trump himself is inexperienced and will be the first president to have never served either in the government or the military, Jay Lefkowitz, a former domestic policy adviser and special human rights envoy to North Korea under President George W. Bush, is concerned.
“You have either no experience or the wrong kind of experience,” Lefkowitz said of Trump and his dubious hiring choices. “That starts at the top, and it’s very troubling.”
Putting a bunch of 5- and 6-year-olds in a van with a 7-year-old behind the wheel is not a formula for success. Yet that is exactly what Donald Trump is doing to America, with himself in the driver’s seat and a bunch of non-experienced drivers traveling along with him. Or in other words, NOBODY knows what they’re doing.
Being President of the United States is not some great big experiment. The job of the person holding the nuclear codes and those advising him simply cannot come down to a billionaire buddy, a loyal MD, and your Century 21 son-in-law. Nor can it be a case of the blind leading the blind.
The White House is simply not the place for EVERYONE to arrive in need of immediate on the job training. Somebody needs to enlighten “The Donald” to this fact before he becomes king on January 20th!

DJ, my good man, Trump and his administration will no doubt prove to be just what his supporters want. The *Know-nothing* and *No experience* presidency. His supporters are just fine with that. . After all – did not Trump's electoral college win prove that a White man, such as himself, regardless of personal or intellectual "Fitness" can simply saunter in off the streets – be as vile and vulgar as possible, LIE compulsively, spew all manner of venom to divide this nation and BS his way straight to the Presidency…?! You're darn skippy. That's exactly what it proved. And so now that I know THIS truth about my country I must sadly, accept that fact while totally rejecting the ignorance and insanity of it all. As I've expressed before, for however long that guy is president, I personally will NOT have a president. I will continue to pray for my… Read more »
