A new NRA video is causing a national raucous for its not-so-subtle attempt to promote another full-on civil war.
Current Events
The April recruitment video from the National Rifle Association, which was re-released last month, is being widely denounced as militant for its call on viewers to “fight this violence of lies with a clenched fist of truth.”
This new NRA ad is barely a whisper shy of a call for full civil war. https://t.co/N33s2KyvVz

Narrated by conservative commentator and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, the video made a direct target of the anti-Trump movement.
“They use their media to assassinate real news,” Loesch begins. “They use their schools to teach children that their president is another Hitler. They use their movie stars and singers and comedy shows and award shows to repeat their narrative over and over again.”
“And then they use their ex-president to endorse the resistance. All to make them march, make them protest, make them scream racism and sexism and xenophobia and homophobia, to smash windows, burn cars, shut down interstates and airports, bully and terrorize the law-abiding until the only option left is for the police to do their jobs and stop the madness.”
“And when that happens, they’ll use it as an excuse for their outrage. The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom, is to fight this violence of lies with a clenched fist of truth.”
This NRA ad is an open call to violence to protect white supremacy. If I made a video like this, I'd be in jail. pic.twitter.com/LD65yMUMVn

The controversial video has racked up nearly 3 million views on Facebook and awakened an “us” versus “them” mentality among a faction of society that believes it is the true government.
In the words of Deray McKesson, an activist and one of the most visible members of the Black Lives Matter movement, the video proves that the NRA is calling for “an open call to violence to protect white supremacy.” He added that if he were to ever produce such a piece of propaganda, he’d be thrown in jail.

THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!
Yes. This NRA video is a blatant attempt by their mucked-up leadership to "Encourage" a full-blown Civil War. And frankly that was my immediate thought when I first heard about this video..and the Uproar in response to it…the other day. It's pure extremist right-wing BS wrapped in White Supremacist propaganda. But I also SEE something else in it. Fear and Desperation by a dying breed in America and their dying cause. Despite all of the really evil isht unleashed within Our country by Trump and his "birther" minions – since the beginning of Pres. Obama's presidency – White Supremacists have NOT found *it* to be as easy as they'd thought it would be – "it" being Unifying the majority of White Americans against ALL "Others." This became quite evident to me during the 8 yrs of Obama's presidency. Every time right-wing carnival-barkers like Limbaugh and Hannity tried to stoke up… Read more »
