OBAMA-BIDEN or OBAMA-CLINTON?
According to Vice-President Biden, all the loose chatter about Hillary Rodham Clinton replacing him on President Obama’s ticket has been extremely frustrating, but not for the reasons you might think.
“The thing that annoys me about it is the implication that somehow President Obama is weak and he needs some kind of help,” Biden told NBC’s Meet The Press yesterday. “That’s not directed at me … and it’s unfair.”
While some pundits have long dreamed of a Clinton-for-Biden swap scenario — where the vice-president would become Secretary of State and the Secretary of State would become vice-president — there was never any serious talk about it in the White House or the president’s re-election team.
Despite his frustration, Biden was still able to joke about the rumor, telling NBC “there’s no way out” now because the campaign has “already printed Obama-Biden” signs.
"The thing that annoys me about it is the implication that somehow President Obama is weak and he needs some kind of help," Biden told NBC's Meet The Press yesterday. "That's not directed at me … and it's unfair."I couldn't AGREE with Biden more! The notion that the FIRST African-American President in U.S. history, is so "weak" as a leader that he *needs* help from a WOMAN (who btw also happens to be WHITE) to save his Presidency makes me want to slap the ish outta whoever's behind promoting such a LIE, quite frankly. Those people truly are disgusting…smh.
