I agree with Truth, Obamas a smart man. He's showing everybody publicly how much he's trying. Then he can say F them and go do his own thing after Repubs keep turning their back on him. They're too stupid to realize what's going on though.

I agree with the W.H. official's 2 main points:

1. The political media (who haven't been right about darn near anything pertaining the THIS president, including predictions about the 2012 election) pushed this nonsense. And..

2. Wining and dining the GOP is a waste….Period.

However, the President knows all of this (that's why a W.H. Official *leaked* this info). Pres. Obama always plays the "long game." He knows it's important that the American people sees him reaching out to the GOP one Last time. IF (by some miracle) he's able to achieve some measure of success with the GOP…then great. If not…the entire world will know that at least he tried.

He will then truly be FREE to give the media and the GOP *the finger* (if you will) and get things done for the betterment of this nation by ANY means he deems necessary.

He won re-election for a reason…and it AIN'T to please the media or the GOP.
