Obama Knockout Punch Of Donald Trump
OUCH! If you haven’t yet seen the Obama knockout punch of Donald Trump, hold onto your hats and fasten your seat belts.
Politics
Throughout his 8-year presidency, Barack and Michelle Obama were the epitomai of grace and forgiveness. They repeatedly turned the other cheek as Donald Trump led a birther movement against the former commander-in-chief — claiming he was an illegitimate president who was born in Kenya and demanding to see his US birth certificate. Mr. Obama also remained above the fray as Trump spent the past 4 years knocking his presidency and attempting to dismantle Obamacare and any and everything America’s first Black president ever created.
However, the gloves came off on Wednesday in the parking lot of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex Philadelphia as Barack Obama made his first campaign appearance on behalf of Joe Biden and opened a can of Whoop-Ass on Donald Trump.
“Eight months into this pandemic, cases are rising again across this country,” he began as a critique of Trump’s failed leadership regarding the once-in-a-generation novel coronavirus. “Donald Trump isn’t suddenly going to protect all of us. He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself.”
He then lit into Trump’s antics and Twitter addiction, calling it unacceptable and noting that such behavior wouldn’t be tolerated from a school principal, a coach, or even a family member.
“Why would we expect and accept this from the president of the United States?”
The Obama knockout punch continued with the former president taking a jab at Trump’s Tuesday night appearance in Erie, PA where he complained about having to travel there because he thought “we had this thing won. But then I had to go back to work.”
“The president spent some time in Erie last night and apparently he complained about having to travel here,” Mr. Obama said, laughing. “Then he cut the event short. Poor guy. I don’t feel that way. I love coming to Pennsylvania.”
Obama then landed a roundhouse on Trump’s finances.
“We know that he continues to do business with China because he has a secret Chinese bank account. How is that possible?” Mr. Obama asked the crowd of supporters. “Can you imagine if I had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election? he said. You think Fox News might have been a little concerned about that? They would’ve called me Beijing Barry.”
It is “not a great idea to have a president who owes a bunch of money to people overseas,” he continued, adding that he probably paid more in taxes working a high school job at an ice-cream parlor than the $750 Donald Trump paid during each of his first two years in The White House.
“By the way, his TV ratings are down,” the former president added, knowing that he had Donald Trump against the ropes. “So you know that upsets him. But the thing is, this is not a reality show. This is REALITY. And the rest of us have had to live with the consequences of him proving himself incapable of taking the job seriously.”
In closing, Mr. Obama warned Democrats not to believe polls that show Joe Biden winning and not to stay home and skip voting out of overconfidence.
“I don’t care about the poll,” Mr. Obama said, referencing Hillary Clinton’s presumed 2016 polling lead. “There were a whole bunch of polls last time. It didn’t work out.”
“We’ve got to out-hustle the other side,” he added, as the ecstatic Democratic attendees began to honk their horns in unison.
The Obama knockout punch was so deadly and so unprecedented for a former US president to launch against a sitting one, that The New York Times said Mr. Obama “burned rubber racing off the high road” in his rebuke of Trump.
This was only the first in a series of planned in-person rallies the former president will make on behalf of the Biden-Harris ticket.
Ultimately, Barack Obama proved why he is still the most popular Democrat alive and the party’s most formidable political weapon. In case you missed it, check out excerpts of some of the best moments below.

“I don’t care about the poll,” Mr. Obama said […]
Hear! Hear! Pres. Obama.
Pay the polls absolutely NO mind. Vote! We must crush Trump at the ballot box.
I watched both of Pres. Obama’s Philly events last evening in real time (his sit-down convo w/Black males AND his speech in the parking lot). Both events were On Point and On Time. Just what WE (most of America) have sorely missed and are so very much clamoring for. I loved it.
