OBAMA LEADS NEW POLL

Spread The Love

There’s good news on the horizon for President Obama.

According to a new poll by by Quinnipiac University, the New York Times and CBS News, President Obama has solid leads in three crucial swing states: Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

Although it’s still very early, the results of the poll are astounding. Mr. Obama now holds a comfortable 6 point lead in Ohio and Florida, and a whopping 11 point lead in Pennsylvania:

OHIO
Obama – 50%
Romney – 44%

FLORIDA
Obama – 51%
Romney – 45%

PENNSYLVANIA
Obama – 53%
Romney – 42%

“If today were November 6th, President Barack Obama would sweep the key swing states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania and — if history is any guide — into a second term in the Oval Office,” said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

The driving force behind the numbers relates to the president’s strength among women and Hispanics.  Theoretically, Romney can’t win the White House if he doesn’t win Ohio and Florida. The results of the poll could signal that Romney may select Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio or Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida as a running mate to help him make up some ground in those states.

You know me DJ…lol I pretty much have no use for polls even when they supposedly favor my candidate. As I've expressed many times, 2008 was a real eye-opener for me. IMO, you simply cannot trust the American news media (on politics) or their partners-in-creating narratives and manipulating American voters, Pollsters. The truth is, I believe the President IS doing well in those "swing" states because people ARE paying attention and they find him to be the better choice.
