THE OBAMA’S HEAD TO EUROPE
President and Mrs. Obama departed for an eight day, five country trip to Europe on Tuesday, on their first journey across the Atlantic since the President took office two months ago. The first stop for the President and First Lady was London, where Mr. Obama will attend a G-20 meeting of the world’s major economic powers as well as a NATO summit. The President will also dine with Queen Elizabeth II, before heading across Europe to meet with other European leaders regarding a myriad of subjects, including the global economy and ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Mr. Obama was wildly popular during his last visit to the continent as a candidate for president, and his popularity continues to remain strong. With so much recent attention having gone to domestic economic issues, expectations are high as to how President Obama will be received on the international stage. Expectations are also high for Mrs. Obama, who is just as popular in Europe as her husband and is being compared to former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

The Obamas are such a classy couple. Europeans are in love with Michelle and are already comparing her to Jackie O and Princess Diana. As I made known in your survey this visit should do wonders for America's global image abroad.
