PALIN PLUMMETS
Sarah Palin may be concerned these days with her new memoir “Going Rogue: An American Life” hitting bookshelves soon. But new data suggests if she covets any future in politics, she might want to be more concerned with new approval ratings hitting rock bottom.
According to a recent Gallup Poll, the former vice presidential candidate has a 40% favorability rating, the lowest it’s been since she became a national political figure at last year’s Republican convention. Since that time, Palin’s image has suffered greatly amid a series of setbacks, declining from a 53% rating when she first emerged as John McCain’s running mate to a 42% rating by the end of the campaign. If Palin intends to run for President herself in 2012, these numbers reflect a rather steep uphill battle for her to even be considered a serious contender.
