If you ever thought that some people should NEVER be allowed to produce offspring, here is a couple who should permanently be at the top of any NO PARENTING list, after they were arrested for committing a sexual assault. Sadly, the victim was their 1-month-old baby son!
In one of the saddest stories ever, 19-year-old Staci Lynn Barbosa and 23-year-old Jonathan Edward Vandergriff, of Bullhead City, Arizona, are accused of participating in or witnessing the rape of their young infant son.
Authorities were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room, after being alerted that an abused child was fighting for his life. Police stated they saw bruises and sores all over the baby’s body while his eyes were red and swollen shut. Upon further investigation, doctors found that the child suffered from broken ribs, a broken femur, was malnourished, dehydrated, and showed physical signs of having been sexually abused.
Barbosa and Vandergriff, who brought the child to the hospital, were immediately taken into custody and were arrested for molestation of a child, child abuse, aggravated assault, and sexual conduct with a minor. The infant did not survive his ordeal.
Vandergriff is currently being held on a $500,000 bond and Barbosa’s bail was set at $250,000.
