Musical Theater enthusiasts know him as the son of the original Peter Pan, actor Mary Martin. Classic television lovers recognize him as Maj. Anthony Nelson, the dashing astronaut who found a beautiful Genie in a bottle in “I Dream of Jeannie.” But most of us will always remember him as the villainous J.R. Ewing of the 1980’s hit night time drama “Dallas.”
Actor Larry Hagman passed away over the holiday weekend, after a year long battle with cancer. Hagman had been filming a remake of the “Dallas” television series for TNT, bringing the iconic series to a whole new generation. He was 81.
Famed middleweight boxer Hector “Macho” Camacho died Saturday.
Camacho was pronounced brain dead on Thursday after being shot in the face while sitting in a parked car in Puerto Rico. Police are still investigating details surrounding the shooting, although cocaine was found inside the vehicle.
His mother made the difficult decision to take her son off life support, after doctor’s concluded his recovery would be nearly impossible.
Hector “Macho” Camacho was 50.
