Don’t look now but Paul Manafort just became Donald Trump’s worst nightmare!
Top News Today
Yes, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort has finally flipped on ‘The Donald’ and agreed to tell all to Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the Russian collusion investigation. Manafort agreed late Friday to pass on praying for a possible presidential pardon and opted to plead guilty to everything and spill the beans on Trump in exchange for a bit of leniency.
As part of the plea agreement, Manafort must relinquish to the US government 5 properties including his Hamptons home, his Trump Tower apartment, a SoHo apartment, an additional Manhattan apartment, and a Brooklyn townhouse (the forfeitures include 2 properties purchased with offshore funds for the express purpose of evading taxes). Additionally, he must also turn over the funds contained in 3 bank accounts as well as a life insurance policy. Finally, he must disclose any and every piece of information he knows regarding Donald Trump and his involvement in possible collusion with Russia.
Believing that he could possibly spend the rest of his life behind bars, the 69-year-old Manafort apparently didn’t trust that Trump would save him with a pardon, so he opted to talk and tell everything he knows.
Out of ‘all the president’s men,’ Paul Manafort has the most ties and connections to Russia. His short-lived stint with the Trump campaign is seen as pivotal to their eventual win. Or, in other words, IF there is a legitimate case for collusion between Trump and Russia, Paul Manafort is the man who knows where the bodies are buried — which is all but curtains for Trump.
In the infamous 2016 dossier written by former British spy Christopher Steele, Donald Trump and his campaign were deeply involved in collusion with and indebted to the Russian government. According to the document, Manafort is listed as somewhat of the point man between Trump and Russia. After all, it was Manafort who stepped in at the 2016 Republican National Convention in the 11th hour to block a provision that would have armed Ukraine to fight Russian-backed militias.
.
Now that Manafort has agreed to be a government witness, investigators are anxious to know why the last-ditch effort was made to protect Russia from Ukraine, what really occurred during the Trump Tower meeting, and which members of the Trump camp conspired with Russia to tilt the outcome of the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump’s favor. If Manafort provides Mueller with the answers to those questions (as expected), Trump is done!
The news of Paul Manafort’s cooperation is nothing short of a bombshell. All of Trump’s men are pleading guilty and talking to the feds. So, despite what ‘The Donald’ continues to claim, this is no “witch-hunt.” This is real life with real consequences. Robert Mueller now has intimate information from Manafort, former campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, and other key figures. Mueller’s masterful method of tearing down the lower bricks in order to get to the top brick and cause the entire structure to come crumbling down seems to be paying off in dividends.
“While my (our) poll numbers are good, with the Economy being the best ever, if it weren’t for the Rigged Russian Witch Hunt, they would be 25 points higher! Highly conflicted Bob Mueller & the 17 Angry Democrats are using this Phony issue to hurt us in the Midterms. No Collusion!” – Donald Trump
How vital will the Paul Manafort information be to Robert Mueller? Is Manafort the last major piece of the puzzle needed to bring Donald Trump to his knees? Will Manafort sing like a canary, or will his testimony end up being a dud?

We shall see. We shall see. …and We shall see.
Mueller doesn’t strike me as the kind of prosecutor to even entertain the thought of a plea deal, unless he’s convinced that the evidence the indicted person has to offer is well worth it.
I’d wager that what Mueller is seeking now is credible info/and evidence that goes beyond the Trump campaign’s collusion w/Russia- to include shady real estate deals and money laundering..as well as income tax evasion and all other illegal activities.
Mueller is going wherever the evidence leads him. He’s following the money.
