“In November they are going to regret they even met him.”

They regret it already BD. But, just like their fearFUL leader, they’re stuck in a trap of their own making. It’s like being in quicksand. They can’t turn left or right because no matter which way they turn they sink just a little bit more into the muck.

Look closely. Except for the real nutjobs who believe Trump is doing just a “great job,” they more sane Repubs are in pure AGONY. I can see it all over their faces.

I voted that Trump is taking the Repub party down right along with him except they are too stupid to see it. First they were scared of him then they got in bed with him. Now they are protecting him and that is going to be their eventual downfall. In November they are going to regret they even met him. All the Dems have to do put some candidates like Lamb out that people like and they will control congress once again. Then they can vote that clown Trump out.

I am so done with both parties -I wish, I wish, I wish we could do away with party labels altogether in America (and don’t even get me started on opinion polls). I simply want to be able to vote for the best person (man or woman) who can, at the very least:

1. Pass a National Security Background Check!!! (and WHY isn’t this required at all levels anyway?…most especially at the presidential level?!)

2. Clearly articulate a vision for WHY he/she is running for a particular office. Spare us the talking points, LIES, and exaggerations. Spare Us NO-substance soundbites and other nonsensical media-driven drivel. Spare Us tribal hatreds, ignorance, bigotries and other assorted toxic BS.

3. Demonstrate more than an elementary school level understanding of Civics and the demands of the job for which you are seeking; AND have a documented record of actual competence related to the office of which you’re seeking.

Oh and Temperament, Intelligence and Civility. I don’t really have to expound on the importance of THESE personality traits do I?

Please anyone…feel free to add to my list because as a Nation WE have GOT to do better…..

…..or We.Are.Finished.

I’m not a resident of PA 18th district but I am a native Pennsylvanian and needless to say, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of that Special election.

As DJ points out in his post, Trump carried that district by 20 points. However, he won the state of PA by a much slimmer margin. And I’d wager his slim win was mostly due to the assumption of most PA voters (like me) who felt certain that Hillary was going to win PA anyway so some PA voters either didn’t vote or voted 3rd party.

But here’s a glaring FACT that Trump, his voters and the GOP, in general canNOT escape:

The most important states were Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Trump won those states by 0.2, 0.7 and 0.8 percentage points, respectively — and by 10,704, 46,765 and 22,177 votes. Those three wins gave him 46 electoral votes; if Clinton had done one point better in each state, she’d have won the electoral vote, too. […] – *Philip Bump, WashPost writer

*Source: “Donald Trump will be president thanks to 80,000 people in three states”

IOW: Trump didn’t win the EC by much. And as we know, he lost the popular vote by over 4 million votes.

Glaring FACT #2: “Trump’s support is NON-transferable”….ESPECIALLY when Repub candidates are of the Roy Moore or Rick Saccone type of candidate.

Glaring FACT #3: When smart and attractive Dems run strong against “repulsive Republicans” Dems,Can.Win. Dems ARE wining.
