Philips Re-invents Television
We’ve come a long way in the evolution of television and Philips is about to take us even further.
Introducing the Philips DesignLine TV, a revolutionary LCD display hidden behind a seamless glass pane with a black to transparent gradient that supports itself by leaning against a wall.
The TV operates at 1,400 Hz and packs a dual-core processor, WiFi and support for 3D (in 1080p) as well as MiraCast. In addition, the DesignLine boasts Ambilight technology on 3 sides, which beams out lights matching the color of what’s displayed on screen.
The new Philips DesignLine will be available in 46- and 55-inch models beginning this summer. Admit it, did you ever think in your wildest dreams that a television would one day be just a huge piece of glass propped up against a wall?
