This should come as no surprise to anyone, but Donald Trump (has proven yet again that he) has no sense of tact or decorum.

On Monday during a White House ceremony meant to honor Navajo veterans, Trump thought it would be cute to mix in a little “Native American” joke while taking a swipe at Democratic arch nemesis Elizabeth Warren in the process.
I just want to thank you because you are very, very special people,” Trump said to the Navajo veterans in attendance. “You were here long before any of us were here — although, we have a representative in Congress who has been here a long time … longer than you — they call her Pocahontas. But you know what? I like YOU!”
HUH???
In his attempt to (supposedly) honor Native Americans, Trump whipped out an old Native American stereotype — and (supposedly) was the last to know how foul his actions were. His choice of words were comparable to calling someone a “Pickaninny” or “Sambo” while (supposedly) honoring black veterans.
Needless to say, Sen. Elizabeth Warren was horrified.
“There he was, at a ceremony to honor Native Americans, men who have really put it all on the line to save American lives, to save lives of people, our allies, during World War II, really amazing people. And President Trump couldn’t even make it through a ceremony to honor these men without throwing in a racial slur,” Warren said Monday night. “Donald Trump does this over and over thinking somehow he is going to shut me up with it. It hasn’t worked out in the past, it isn’t going to work out in the future.”

Trump’s racist reference to the Massachusetts liberal Democrat as “Pocahontas” stems from his repeated questioning of Warren’s claims that she is Native American and his belief that she has used it as a way to advance her career.
“Never. I never used it to get ahead I never used it to get into school. I never used it to get a job. Look, this is just a way for Donald Trump to be able to try to get somebody talking about something other than what he’s doing,” Warren said.
Still, a formal White House ceremony honoring elderly Native American veterans was neither the time nor the place to take up an issue with an enemy or to make an insensitive joke. It just wasn’t funny.
Trump’s “Pocahontas” slur comes on the heels of his endorsement of Roy Moore, the Republican pedophile who is up for the open US Senate seat from Alabama.
Still, somehow, Trump’s ignorant and racist supporters are never bothered by his words or deeds. They are completely unfazed that he used the racial slur “Pocahontas,” or has thrown his political support behind a GOP pedophile who was banned from ever entering local teen-filled malls, or from Trump’s own sexual misconduct.

His supporters don’t so so he doesn’t care. He is ignorant with no home training just like they are. Like he said he could stand in the middle of the street and shoot somebody and his people would still love him. He was right.
