Oh I agree BD (as I already stated) it certainly appears to be "yet another case of cops over-reacting to a situation involving a young Black male."

Actually, now that I think about it, the young man may be Hispanic or Black-Hispanic(?) But no matter his race or ethnicity, IF he ignored the cop and then directed profanity at the cop those significant factors should NOT be ignored, or glossed over or minimized (I'm certainly not saying you've done any of that BD).

I simply want the whole Truth told because it's important for Everyone involved to take responsibility for their own actions, including Mayfield. Not just the cops.

Hey Truth according to the eye witness the boy was getting off the bus in the bus lane. So he had to walk in it some to get to the sidewalk. Supposedly that's when the cop stopped him. But even if he was walking in the lane and even if he cussed at the cop, the over reaction was too much. This was a child and not a grown man. The cop should have gave him a warning or something, but not move the boy to tears.

It does appear that this is yet another case of cops over-reacting to a situation involving a young Black male.

However, I would also like to know the answers to a few questions. The video shows what occurred AFTER the situation had already begun to escalate. I would like to know what actually took place PRIOR to what we see on the video? What actually led to the altercation?

Did Mayfield actually ignore the officer's request that he "move from the bus lane"..? And did Mayfield actually use profanity at the officer before getting into some kind of a physical atercation with the officer? (which then led to Mayfield seeking cover in a nearby bush).
