Poll: CAN OBAMA WIN THIS ONE?
We’re 1 day away from the 2012 presidential election. The polls have been up. The polls have been down. Political pundits have predicted every outcome imaginable, describing how both President Obama and Mitt Romney can get to the magic number of 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
Most of the top pollsters, including Nate Silver of the New York Times, acknowledge that President Obama has a much clearer path to 270 than his Republican challenger, since he appears to be leading in the all-important state of Ohio. According to CNN’s John King, if Romney loses Ohio, he would have to seize a Democratic-leaning state (such as Wisconsin or Minnesota) from President Obama just to break past the finish line.
