Kanye West could be dropping the biggest hint that he wants to run for president to ‘keep America great.’ The recluse rapper has returned to social media in full force after announcing that he is making a comeback to music. This isn’t the first time the Stronger rapper has hinted that he is considering swapping fashion and music for politics. Or is it all elaborate promo for his forthcoming album?

The 40-year-old suggested he will run for president in 2024 after posting and quickly deleting a tweet showing snaps of his face in what appeared to be mock-up campaign posters. The father of three can be seen alongside the words ‘Keep America Great’ with the hashtag #Kanye2024. Kanye’s interest in the White House comes as no surprise to anybody. In 2016, Kanye had a private meeting with the then-Presidential candidate Donald Trump in Trump Towers. ‘I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,’ he wrote on Twitter. ‘These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. ‘I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.’ And earlier this week, DJ Ebro has claimed that Kanye loves the current President.

Amen Truth. You said everything I was already thinking. I wish everything DJ wrote wasn’t true but it is. We are in a bad place in society and we don’t take things serious anymore as a country. Trump and all his people in their hold our lives in their hands. He could get on a Twitter fight one night and launch a nuclear war but nobody thinks about that. Now we have Kanye West buddying up to him because he wants to run for president. This is not a game people but we have made it out to be one. We need to wake up and take our country back. Like the post from the other day about divorcing the United States and breaking it up, maybe we should.

And DJ, if may borrow a thought from you with just a slight variation: The theory of decorum and preparedness and experience and intelligence and civility, in most segments of American society…including presidential politics…is dead.
