BREAKING NEWS: After only 1 week on the job, Anthony Scaramucci is out as White House Communications Director. More news as it develops.
In less than a week on the job, new White House Communications Director Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci has created 2 casualties. First, he forced White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer out of a job. Now, it’s Chief of Staff Reince Priebus who finds himself on the unemployment rolls. And it’s only been SEVEN days!

It’s being called the worst week ever of the Donald Trump era. The Mooch was hired. Sean Spicer was fired. Reince Priebus was fired. Their tenures at 6 months a piece are ranked as the shortest ever in White House history. Is this at all normal? Not on your life!
Now, Donald Trump believes that bringing in former general and Homeland Security Director John Kelly as the new White House chief-of-staff will somehow right his wayward ship. Although we wish him well, nothing could be further from the truth. For as long as Donald Trump is captain, the SS White House will never see smooth sailing.
Let’s take a look at the Trump team in turmoil:
.
ANTHONY SCARAMUCCI
He’s a flashy, stereotypical New York Italian. He talks tough, has greasy hair, and frequently uses vulgarity that is so crass, it would make a sailor blush. In the World of Trump, he’s perfect. However, with no previous political experience and no knowledge of the ways of Washington (just like Donald), the new White House communications director appears to be the last to know that hitching his wagon to Trump will only lead to a dead-end road of failure.
If his first few days as Donald Trump’s flunky is any indication of what’s to come, The Mooch has a very bleak future. Last Monday, Mrs. Scaramucci gave birth to the couple’s child. She also filed for divorce. The apparent cause for the divorce is that Mrs. Scaramucci is NOT AT ALL a Trump fan. She has taken issue with her husband being a Trump sycophant and for him kissing Trump’s ass until he was handed a post inside the West Wing.
The Mooch missed the birth of his child, because he was in Washington with Trump. He also sent only a text saying “congratulations” to his wife and did not get back to New York to see his newborn son until 4 days after his birth. When asked if the possibility of infidelity may have caused the break-up, a friend of the Scaramucci’s was adamant.
“The only one he’s dating right now is the West Wing of the White House,” the friend stated.
Granted, The Mooch is big and brash, however, those are the exact qualities that will ultimately contribute to his downfall. In the World of Trump, there’s only room for one star at center stage and “The Donald” will soon tire of Scaramucci already seizing the spotlight. He’s also not well liked by chief adviser Steve Bannon and first son-in-law Jared Kushner, which is all but the kiss-of-death for anyone. Even The Mooch.

REINCE PRIEBUS
When the former RNC chairman joined the 2016 Trump campaign, he basically did so as “The Donald’s” babysitter. When he signed on as White House Chief-Of-Staff, he successfully hid the many weaknesses of Trump from the American public. Now, all bets are off.
During his brief tenure in The White House, Priebus continued his role as babysitter of the man-child in the Oval Office instead of an actual staff manager. According to reports from the West Wing, Priebus followed Trump everywhere like a parent might follow a child in a china shop. If Trump went to a meeting, HE went to the meeting. If Trump went out-of-town, HE went out-of-town right along with him. Priebus never stayed behind in Washington and never actually managed The White House staff. He only managed Trump — which someone obviously needed to do.
With Priebus out, Donald Trump has cut off his best connection to congressional Republicans. Too bad Trump doesn’t realize that his ability to get anything accomplished or any laws passed just became that much more difficult.

JOHN KELLY
The distinguished general turned Homeland Security director is believed to be an extreme disciplinarian. However, he has his work cut out for him as chief-of-staff to Donald Trump. The job description calls for a strong manager, which he is. It also calls for a strong political mind who has deep connections on Capitol Hill, which he ain’t.
If Donald Trump was in search of someone to bring order to the West Wing, hiring a new chief-of-staff was not the solution. For as long as Trump is in charge and causing chaos, and for as long as the Trump family is making all the critical decisions, it really doesn’t matter who is in the position.
Regrettably, Donald Trump still doesn’t understand that this is not a monarchy and that the US operates on 3 branches of government. He still doesn’t realize the power of the legislative branch and just how much of a connection he needs with them in order to get anything accomplished.
For as distinguished as he is, John Kelly simply doesn’t have the political clout on Capitol Hill to be Trump’s solution.

The administration is having a hard time getting out of its own way. The seeming disarray in the White House obviously makes it hard for the administration to carry out its policies.” – Ira Mehlman, Federation for American Immigration Reform

Despite assertions that all is well inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., the reality show known as the Donald Trump White House is a comedy of errors. Sadly, the turmoil it regularly produces day after day after day is no laughing matter. The amount of major legislation Trump has successfully passed is ZERO. The Republican agenda is still stalled. The promise to repeal and replace Obamacare remains a continuous failure. The West Wing is embroiled in bickering factions, power struggles, and infighting. Trump’s public attacks against Attorney General Jeff Sessions is turning conservatives and southern voters against him. Trump and his lack of presidential decorum also continues to piss off members of congress from both sides of the aisle, which has only deepened his inability to govern or get anything done. Oh, and a special prosecutor is investigating Trump for possible collusion with Russia and obstruction of justice.
We have a new White House communications director. We have a new White House press secretary. We have a new White House chief-of-staff. We have a Secretary of State ready to resign. Yet, we still have the same man in the Oval Office. Firing everyone from the neck down will accomplish nothing, so long as Trump remains at the top.
Can/will John Kelly come in, wave a magic wand, and make everything all better? Or is a White House with Donald Trump at the helm an irreversible catastrophe and his presidency all but over?

Trump is a 2-legged human-disaster – the equivalent of a Category 6 Hurricane laying waste to all he sees and touches.
A fake-alpha who in actuality presents as a very weak and sniveling and insecure man who thrives on chaos, conflict and confusion. A malignant narcissist given to endless self-aggrandizement, serial lying, deception, corruption, ignorance AND incompetence.
In short: He’s one mucked-up piece of work and EVERY member of his family – and any real friend he may possibly have -knows it.
He can surround himself with all the generals his little dark heart desires – it won’t mean a thing because TRUMP himself is the problem.
And there ain’t NO fixing that.
