This is just a follow-up to the official statement from Queen Elizabeth II yesterday concerning this matter.

Haters will pay the Queen’s statement no mind. They will continue to stoke the flames of hatred and racism.

But hopefully people who are of *good will* will now back off and give the Royal family time and space to work through this trying time.

I just saw this on AP:

Queen Elizabeth II has responded to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s request to “step back” as senior members of the royal family.

“Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family,” the reigning monarch shared in a statement. “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.

“Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives,” the 93-year-old continued. “It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

Truth you hit every point right on the head. Their whole relationship went sour when Harry got with a black woman. That is the root of the whole problem. The press is blaming Megan for everything and it is sad. I also wish Diana’s boys can mend their relationship. They have been close their whole life.

And let me say this in conclusion……

Harry has always been different from his brother and the rest of his family. He’s always marched to a different drum. It’s been said that he’s a lot like his mother but she got swallowed up by the monarchy and the British press. In the end, Princess Diana was crushed by all of it. Her marriage to Prince Charles (who actually loved someone else) ended, and tragically the press literally chased her to her death. Harry is mindful of all of that.

He loves the Royal family and he’s not deliberately trying to throw the family into chaos. But he IS his own man. He will go his own way if he feels it’s what’s best for him and his wife and child/children.

That said. I honestly hope that he and the “Royal family” can find a satisfactory middle ground and that he and Meghan can live a happy life together.
