Yes, Truthiz1, this story affected me as well. The moment I heard about it I knew it would be the TGIF story for this week.

I originally posted a video from CBS Morning News that the network deleted on YouTube for some reason. However, I’ve uploaded a new video showing little Parker calling Mrs. Obama a “Queen.” Please check it out when you get a moment — and have some tissues nearby! 😉

I sit here with tears in my eyes like it’s the first time I’ve seen this picture. It’s Not.

But I can’t help it. That little girl represents so many little girls of Color, especially little Black girls and my heart is so touched by it.

They say “a picture is worth a thousand words.” That picture is so incredibly Beautiful and Moving and Powerful…there are NO words that even comes close to adequately describing it.
