Worsened Under Obama?
A new poll suggests race relations between blacks and whites in the U.S. have worsened under President Obama. Here’s why that is an enormous pile of BS.

According to the new CNN/ORC poll, 54% said relations between blacks and whites have gotten worse since Mr. Obama became president, including 57% of whites and 40% of blacks. That’s up dramatically compared to last June, when 43% said things had gotten worse shortly after the racially motivated shooting at a black church in Charleston, South Carolina. Similarly, 52%, said the criminal justice system in the U.S. favors whites over blacks, while 36% said it treats blacks and whites equally, which is down 6 points since February 2015.
The common denominator here is that somehow President Obama is personally responsible for degraded relations between the races. Hogwash!
For those who have somehow convinced themselves that racism ended a long time ago, but was miraculously reborn through the malicious and purposeful actions of Mr. Obama, there’s a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.
Racism and bigotry has ALWAYS been present. It NEVER ended. If anything, it simply became dormant as the races learned to tolerate each other. However, the election of the first African-American President of the United States is what brought the racist “roaches” out of the woodworks and into the daylight.
The presence of the first BLACK family in America’s WHITE House ignited all the bigoted depictions of the Obama’s eating watermelon on the White House lawn, Barack Obama as a Muslim and/or Witch Doctor , Michelle Obama as an ape, and more.  However, Mr. Obama did not create the vitriol.  It was already brewing just beneath the surface, and his election TWICE into a position no black person in America had ever achieved is what sent the pot boiling over.

President Obama did not cause a deterioration of race relations in America. Instead, it was him not “knowing his place” and being “uppity” enough to seek and actually achieve the presidency (typically a WHITE position of power) that is the culprit.  If anyone is to blame, it’s people like Donald Trump who provided a “strength in numbers” mentality for racists to lose all tact and decorum and say all the things they’ve been thinking, but until now would not dare say publicly. Now that they see “The Donald” saying Muslims are terrorists and Mexicans are rapists, the bigots have permission to (finally) speak their minds too.
Yes, race relations have worsened over the 8 years of America’s first black president — simply because he IS a black president. Why else are a sea of White Americans filling 20,000 seat arenas at Trump rallies shouting they want to “Take our country back?”
At least now we know whom they want to take it back from!
