Anybody heard yet about the recent case of Sherri Goforth, an aide to Tennessee State Senator Diane Black (Rep.), who embarrassed the GOP by sending a mass email with a racist picture attached mocking President Barack Obama? The email contains a “historical keepsake photo” of all 44 U.S. Presidents, but the portrait of President Obama was just a large pair of white eyes peering out from a black background. Classy! But the most troubling part of this story is the still-employed staffer’s attitude regarding the shameful action –

When I asked her if she understood the controversial nature of the photo, Goforth would only say she felt very bad about accidentally sending it to the wrong list. When I gave her a second chance to address the controversial nature of the email, she again repeated that she only felt bad about sending it to the wrong list of people.

OKWASSUP! Goforth is not at all sorry that she has such an overt piece of racism in her collection…she’s only sorry it was accidentally sent to the wrong people. Once again, Classy! The Tennessee Democratic Party is calling for Goforth to either resign or be terminated. But so far, Senator Black has only issued her employee a written reprimand to “go into her file.” Wow, now that’s punishment! WATCH:
