Frost was scheduled to deliver a speech aboard the Queen Elizabeth last Saturday, but had a heart attack while sailing and passed away.
Frost enjoyed a long and very successful career in broadcasting, but he is best known for his probing interview of former President Richard M. Nixon.

A statement from his representatives said: “His family are devastated and ask for privacy at this difficult time. A family funeral will be held in the near future and details of a memorial service will be announced in due course.”
David Frost was 74.
