Guess who’s behind the ricin letters to President Obama and New York’s Mayor Bloomberg? You may have never guessed it was “her.”
Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, a full-time resident of New Boston, TX and a part-time actress has been identified as the culprit and is now under arrest.
Interestingly, Richardson contacted authorities on May 30th to implicate her own husband as the sender of the ricin letters. But when Richardson failed a polygraph test, authorities became suspicious.
Richardson has since admitted to sending the letters, although she claims her husband typed them and forced her to send them. In a statement to E! News late last week, Richardson is now trying to claim her own innocence and still fully implicate her husband:
“I really can’t say much at all but the accusation couldn’t be further from the truth. I would not put my unborn child or other children in danger just to ‘frame’ someone. He simply needed someone to blame for what he has done and I was the obvious person for him to blame. Most of what is being reported in this case is absolutely inaccurate. That’s all I can say. Thank you for asking for my side of this instead of running with the inaccuracies many others are publishing.”
At the very least, this woman is a piece of work. And if it turns out that ther husband was involved also the authorities will soon be arresting him too.
