I just heard he withdrew which was the right thing to do. To answer some of your questions Truth, I think him just being a doctor only meant he flew under the radar. But once Trump tried to make him in charge of Veteran Affairs he had to be vetted and go through Senate confirmation. That is when a lot of things probably came into the light. He probably got away with a lot for a while but once Trump tried to promote him it basically ruined his good reputation.

First let me say- obviously Ronny Jackson is NOT qualified for the position of Secretary of Veterans Affairs (which naturally made him a perfect pick for Trump in the first place).

And Jackson has now withdrawn his nomination.

But I have to ask – given what’s now being reported about his “troubling” history how on earth was Jackson even allowed to keep his job as as White House Physician” for so long?

As per his career bio, Jackson was chosen to be the White House physician in 2006, “directing the Executive Health Care” for the President, the President’s Cabinet and senior staff. And he served in that position “during the past three administrations,” including having served as the appointed physician to Pres. Obama.

So how is it that over a 12 yrs period absolutely NOTHING in his apparent troubling history warranted him being FIRED from that position!?!

Was Pres. Obama (and his predecessor) ever made aware of Jackson’s “troubling” behaviors?

If the answer is “Yes” then why was Jackson allowed to stay on in that job?! And why on earth would Pres. Obama write a glowing report praising Jackson?!

OTOH if the answer is “No” then why on earth would Pres. Obama’s staff keep such vital information from him?!
