Roy Moore Reveals The REAL Republican Party

Spread The Love

The Republican Party has a huge problem on their hands — and his name is Roy Moore, who is very likely to be elected to the US Senate from Alabama on December 12th.

Politics
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Roy Moore is a “Family Values” Christian conservative Republican from Alabama, who says yes to marriage between a man and a woman, but no to homosexuality. He has a squeaky clean record except for 1 tiny little vice: he (allegedly) has an affinity for 14-year-old girls.

Yes, 4 adult women have come forward with claims that Roy Moore sexually assaulted them while they were minors and under the age of 18. The 1st woman said the then 32-year-old Moore initiated sexual contact with her when she was only an 8th grader.  Former co-workers and those who know him well say it’s common knowledge in Alabama that Roy Moore has always enjoyed the company of high school (or younger) girls. Now, a 5th woman has since come forward with yet another claim against the GOP candidate.

On Monday, Beverly Young Nelson accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was 15.

“Mr. Moore attacked me when I was a child,” Nelson said during a news conference.  She went on to describe that Moore was a regular customer at a restaurant where she worked as a waitress, and the time he attempted to force her to perform a sex act inside a parked car.  According to Nelson, the incident left her with severe bruising on her neck.

In what may have been the most damning bit of evidence against Moore since the testimony of 5 different women, Nelson then produced her 1977 high school yearbook which included this lovely little inscription from Mr. Family Values: “To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say ‘Merry Christmas’ Christmas 1977 Roy Moore, D.A. 12-22-77 Olde Hickory.”

Despite multiple claims against Moore from 5 different women who don’t know each other, Alabama Republicans have made the odd choice to stand behind their accused pedophile running for Senate.

“It was 40 years ago,” Alabama Marion County GOP chair David Hall said. “I really don’t see the relevance of it. He was 32. She was supposedly 14. But we’re talking something that somebody SAID happened, 40 years ago. It wouldn’t affect whether or not I’d vote for him.”

Alabama Mobile County GOP chairman John Skipper had this to say: “It does not really surprise me. I think it is a typical Democratic – Democrat – ploy to discredit Judge Moore, a sincere, honest, trustworthy individual.”

Alabama Geneva County GOP chairman Riley Seibenhener also chimed in: “Other than being with an underage person – he didn’t really force himself. I know that’s bad enough, but I don’t know. If he withdraws, it’s five weeks to the election…that would concede it to the Democrat.”

However, it was Alabama state auditor Jim Ziegler who provided the wildest defense of Moore yet.

“Take Joseph and Mary,” he said. “Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”

HUH?????

Politics
Yes, rather than cede the race to the qualified Democratic candidate, Alabamians would rather send an accused pedophile to represent them in Washington, effectively putting the love of party over the knowledge of right versus wrong.

Recognizing how damaging Moore’s rise to the Senate would be for the national GOP, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and a host of Republicans on Capitol Hill are doing everything in their power to stop Roy Moore from ever entering the city limits.

“I believe the women, yes,” McConnell told reporters on Monday. “I think he should step aside.”

However, Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado, who runs GOP campaigns for the Senate, took matters a step further.

“If (Moore) refuses to withdraw and wins, the Senate should vote to expel him, because he does not meet the ethical and moral requirements of the United States Senate,” he said.

An additional 20 prominent Republicans, including Sen. John McCain, Sen. Orrin Hatch, Sen. Susan Collins, and former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney have all come forward calling for Moore to stand down and simply go away.

So far, it looks as if Roy Moore isn’t going anywhere. With support from the pedophile-backing residents of Alabama who want their man in the US Senate no matter what and a prominent sex offender sitting in the Oval Office, a huge GOP civil war seems imminent.

Stay tuned…

  1. Jim Ziegler:
“Take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”

And THAT about says it all when it comes to christiaNIST beliefs doesn’t it? For some, like Ziegler, their defense of Moore is that Jesus Christ, the Son OF GOD, was actually just the son of Joseph, conceived thru human sexual intercourse between Mary and Joseph…NOT thru the Holy Spirit!?! While others say “Well even if the allegations are true I’d rather vote for Roy {a child molester} than a Democrat.”

They, like their cretin of a president, make me sick To.My.Stomach.

But at least the Truth about that despicable lot is finally being revealed. They are confirming for me, what I’ve always known. So-called “christian Conservatism” has NOTHING to do with the True gospel of Christ. It’s a dangerous mix of right-wing CULTURAL POLITICS and right-wing christiaNIST fanaticism, and especially so among Southern evangelicals. They are mostly extremist right-wing zealots, who worship, first and foremost, at the altar of right-wing politics and power. THAT is who they are.

  2. Now, regarding the Republican Party……..

DJ is correct. The Republican party has a HUGE problem on its hands. And it’s a problem of their own making as Repub leaders have spent DECADES digging this dark pit they now find themselves in. And you could even say that Roy Moore is the original “Trump before Trump” with a few distinct differences.

Yes, both men are sexual predators who’ve wielded their Power over others -in particular girls and women. Both men will LIE their azzez off at the drop of a dime to save his own azz. But Trump believes in No One and Nothing but Trump. That’s it. Thee is no there there. No depth. No conviction. No courage. Nothing. Just an empty, vacuous, Fake alpha male who punked out 5 TIMES from serving his country during the Vietnam War. His so-called business accomplishments include at least 5 bankruptcies. And he’ll say and do anything to feed his own narcissism.

Moore attended -and graduated from- West Point Military Academy and served his country (from the front desk to the front-lines) during the Vietnam War. He put his life on the line. After the War he attended Law school and EARNED his Juris Doctor degree and then passed the bar. He had a successful law practice before running for-and winning- several key offices in the Alabama state and federal government, including Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.

Moore is also a right-wing nutjob who believes in his own ideology. Unfortunately, it’s an extremely mucked-up ideology. But he believes in it and will play the right-wing christiaNIST martyr to the end.

  3. “Trump faces big choice on Moore’s fate”

President Trump is set to play a decisive role in the Republican battle over Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore — if he chooses to do so.

Trump, who so far has declined to directly address the allegations against Moore, is facing pressure from both sides. […] – The Hill

Well this ought to be fun to watch in a twisted sorta way. Just how does an ADMITTED sexual predator “address the allegations” made against another (probable) sexual predator of his own party?

    Atta boy Roy? /sarc

Seriously though. Trump has no more say-so over Roy Moore’s fate than that ridicules patch of hair on Trump’s head.

    1. Trump is quiet on this because how can a sex predator judge another sex predator? The whole thing is a joke.

  4. Editorial in 3 Alabama newspapers blasts Moore as ‘unfit for public office’

An editorial published by three of Alabama’s largest newspapers on Monday called Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore “grossly unfit for office” in the wake of allegations that he initiated sexual encounters with girls as young as 14 when he was in his 30s.

“Roy Moore simply cannot be a U.S. Senator. Even if his party and many of its adherents still think it possible, it is unthinkable — for his state, and his country,” wrote the AL.com editorial board, which feeds newspapers in Birmingham, Mobile and Huntsville. “Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is a consideration for the courtroom, not the ballot box. When choosing our representative before the rest of the world, character matters.” – Politico

I have very deep roots in Alabama, on my mother’s side – a lot of my kinfolk still live down there. But they are not now, nor have they ever been Roy Moore voters. They respected his military service but these allegations sullied even that a bit in the minds of some people.

  5. See this is what is wrong with the Repubs. They are a bunch of hipocrites. They preach the bible and how christian they are but go and make up excuses to fit what they are doing wrong. How can anybody fix their mouth to say what Roy Moore did was ok because Mary and Joseph did it? Like Truth said that means they don’t really believe the bible because the story is Joseph never touched Mary. But no matter because the law is the law and he was breaking it. This whole thing makes me mad because here they are preaching one thing but doing another. That is why so many Repubs who are the biggest ones agains gay end up getting caught doing something gay themselves. Anyway good luck Repubs because Roy Moore is just going to drag your party down even more.

  6. USA Today:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday did not rule out trying to expel Roy Moore if the Alabama Republican wins a U.S. Senate seat in that state’s special election next month.

“He’s obviously not fit to be in the United States Senate,” the Kentucky Republican told reporters on Tuesday. “And we’ve looked at all the options to try to prevent that from happening.”

McConnell and other Republicans in Washington are trying to push Moore to drop out of the Alabama Senate race in the wake of allegations that the controversial ex-judge pursued sexual relationships with four teenage girls when he was in his early 30s. A fifth woman said on Monday that Moore assaulted her when she was a 16-year-old high school student working as a waitress at a restaurant that Moore, then a prosecutor, frequented.
