Sandy Hook Parents Deliver Radio Address

Normally, the President of the United States delivers a weekly radio address, but this past week, President Obama left that task to others.

Committed to driving home his position on gun control, Mr. Obama allowed Francine and David Wheeler the honor of speaking to the American public by radio.  The Wheelers are the parents of 6-year-old Ben Wheeler, who was killed in the Sandy Hook shooting massacre last December.

“Thousands of other families across the United States are also drowning in our grief,” Francine Wheeler during last Saturday’s address as she choked back tears. “Please help us do something before our tragedy becomes your tragedy.”
