SARAH DOES OPRAH

Spread The Love

After months of speculation and build up, the much talked about and highly anticipated “Sarah Palin” interview finally happened on The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday.

Since Oprah Winfrey openly backed Barack Obama for President, there had been some hard feelings on the part of Sarah Palin and her supporters.  They believed an iconic symbol for women such as Oprah should have backed the female Palin, who had hoped to break the glass ceiling with her election.  But Winfrey followed her heart and stuck with Obama, prompting Palin to steer clear of the syndicated daytime talk-fest.  However, after months of prodding and with Palin’s book “Going Rogue” hitting bookshelves today, what better time for Madam Palin to seize the moment (and the ratings) and appear before the Queen of daytime?

As expected, Oprah was very pointed with her questions and did not hold back on the (now) media savvy Palin.  The questions were fair but very direct and Oprah was not at all afraid to hold Sarah’s feet to the fire.  Much of the discussion revolved around Sarah’s new book “Going Rogue,” which some critics are already calling part self-promotion/part “hit-man-payback” aimed at John McCain and his former advisers.  And some early fact-checking from the Associated Press says “Going Rogue” is filled with quite a bit of fabrication (translation: LIES!).  In case you missed the fun on Oprah, here’s a sneak peek of what happened:

I watched the whole interview and left with one opinion….B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!

Truthiz

I do stay informed about what Palin is up to at any given time because I believe her influence on her rabid followers is much to dangerous to be totally ignored. But the truth is, I don't watch even 10 seconds of the woman. I think it's pretty d*mn clear what she is and what she's really about.

This woman is a non-entity. Nobody's really paying attention.
