You’re exactly right BD! And Americans can no longer afford to pretend it’s not who WE are just to make White America feel better!

This is a real good topic and I never stopped to think about it like this until now. Why is it everybody always says the same thing and pretend this is not who we are? I am so glad the man said what he said on MSNBC and set the record straight. We keep showing racism everyday then somebody comes out and says this is not who we are when it is who we are. That is just to make white folk comfortable. But I agree it is time to tell the truth about it and stop pretending so people can feel good about themselves. We are as racist as it comes. Period.

You cannot properly treat ANY illness - especially a deadly illness- unless that illness is correctly diagnosed AND then accepted/acknowledged by the patient.
