The woman who once worked as a maid for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, had an affair and a love-child with the Governator, and was one-half the cause of their marriage ending, is finally speaking out.
Mildred Baena, who remained in the shadows as this story unfolded, has finally chosen to break her silence and tell her side of the sordid tale that tore a family apart and made her despised woman. Interestingly, Baena says she was the one who told Maria that her son Joseph, was also Arnold’s son too.
“Last summer, I brought Joseph over to the house,” Baena said in an interview. “After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other.” Apparently, the other domestic workers were not the only ones to notice the uncanny resemblance between their boss and Mildred’s son. Maria Shriver also took note and pushed for confirmation from Baena.
“Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her, and I kept saying no,” Baena revealed. “Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold’s son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes he was and I was so sorry. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees.”
“Since I was retiring soon, I said I would pack up and leave right away, but she said to stay until after the holidays,” Baena adds.
Baena retired from her longtime job with the Schwarzenegger family this past January, but surprisingly says she never told the ex-Governor that he is Joseph’s dad. “He’s a good man and I know he’s suffering too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out,” she said.
