Scotland Hates Donald Trump

Add another name to the list of countries not enamored with Donald Trump… Scotland.

Current Events
Trump may have hoodwinked the Republican Party into believing he’s the greatest at all things, but the people of Scotland think of him as a bully and the scum of the earth. That’s because Trump rolled into their country, bought a stretch of sacred beachfront property, promised to build one of the best golf courses in the world, then botched the entire deal and made a nation of enemies in the process.

Scotland hates TrumpTrump promised the locals that if they sold him their valuable oceanfront land, he would build a world-class golf course that would provide thousands of jobs, tourism and a new way to diversify the oil economy. Now a decade later, he has angered the Scots and turned most of his former supporters against him.

“He promises the earth, delivers nothing,” says David Milne, who lives nearby. “As far as that goes, he’s in a good position to be a politician. But as far as the real world goes, no, do not trust this man with anything.”

Milne used to have an ocean view.  Now he has to stand on his upstairs balcony to see over the edge of Trump’s golf course.  What makes it worse is that Milne says he hardly ever sees a golfer and the entire deal was a bust. He also calls Trump a bully and a really bad neighbor. This stems from Trump’s attempt to use the Scottish version of eminent domain to force locals to sell their property. When many refused, Trump publicly insulted them and called their homes ugly.

“They have threatened us at a few stages,” Milne said. “We’ve had the water lines cut, the power lines cut, the phone lines cut — sometimes accidentally, but not always. He has lied to us, he’s lied about us.”

In the words of the leader of the Scottish National Party, Alex Salmond, “I wish somebody had said no to him [Trump] when he was a wee boy, because I think he would’ve turned out better.”

Check out the full story in the video below. It’s a fascinating look into the man who has fooled scores of people into believing he’s a stellar businessman.

“He promises the earth, delivers nothing,” Yep. And by now WHO (except for the most gullible of his supporters) is surprised by this?. The guy truly does give new meaning to the phrase "Full-Of-Sh*t." Btw- Word to Trump supporters……… You might want to check out the Vanity Fair *Exclusive" just posted yesterday. "Is Donald Trump's Endgame The Launch of Trump News? " Excerpts: The breakout media star of 2016 is, inarguably, Donald Trump, who has masterfully—and horrifyingly—demonstrated an aptitude for manipulating the news cycle, gaining billions of dollars worth of free airtime, and dominating coverage on every screen. Now, several people around him are looking for a way to leverage his supporters into a new media platform and cable channel. Trump is indeed considering creating his own media business, built on the audience that has supported him thus far in his bid to become the next president of the United… Read more »

I also want to add………

I think the Vanity Fair story is spot on and, IMO, it certainly explains a lot about his sham of a campaign.

Trump never wanted to BE president. He latched onto the Repub party to gain a following of gullible, Angry, (mostly) White under-educated, blue-collar working-class men AND women while enhancing his "brand" to pursue more lucrative business ventures.

And I've noticed, over the past week, as more and more credible information is revealed about Trump – the quieter his supporters have become.

Last night he held a rally that was supposed to draw at least 20,000 attendees. Instead, it drew about 4,000. And the so-called "thousands" of people that he claimed was waiting to get into his rally turned out to be less than 50.

The Republican party has killed itself.

Breaking: “Anybody But Trump” – RNC Delegates Seek To Stop Trump At The Convention It's one thing when Erick Erickson or Hugh Hewitt ask the Republican National Committee delegates to find some way of saving the party by stopping Donald Trump from getting its nomination. It's another when the Republican National Committee delegates themselves start engineering a way to nominate "Anybody but Trump." And that's what's happening. The Washington Post has talked to delegates who are part of a group of "dozens" who are looking to save the party by stopping Trump: "This literally is an ‘Anybody but Trump’ movement,” said Kendal Unruh, a Republican delegate from Colorado who is leading the campaign. “Nobody has any idea who is going to step in and be the nominee, but we’re not worried about that. We’re just doing that job to make sure that he’s not the face of our party.” The… Read more »
