Secret Consumer Score: Your Hidden Rating
We’re all aware of our own personal credit score and how it affects our financial lives. However, how many of us are aware of our secret consumer score — or the fact that we even have one?
Lifestyle
Yes, according to The New York Times, we all have hidden ratings that determine how long each of us waits on hold when calling a business, whether or not we’re allowed to return items to a store, as well as what types of services we receive. A low score will send you to the back of the queue, while a high score will provide you with rockstar/elite treatment.
Do you write Yelp and Amazon reviews? Are they mostly positive or always negative? How do Airbnb and Uber see you? Yep, those online opinions factor into your score.
So, what’s your personal rating? You can find out more about your own score HERE, or check out the video below.

THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!

Thanks for this DJ. The truth is, I’ve rarely had to return items and I don’t provide reviews…period.
But the “Secret consumer Score” further confirms for me how *they* view Us (American consumers) as sheep to be further divided. But also as Play-Doh to be shaped and molded – basically played with.
TGIF!
