SECRET SERVICE SCANDAL GROWS

Spread The Love

The fallout from the Secret Service prostitution scandal continues to grow out of control, with under aged girls and unprofessional conduct now taking center stage in the controversy.

Three more agents have been forced out, bringing the total number to 6 who have left or are in the process of leaving the agency. This also raises the number of Secret Service agents and uniformed personnel being investigated to 12, while 11 members of the Department of Defense are also being investigated.

Their behavior while on travel duty to protect President Obama in Columbia, South America is troubling, since it appears to have exposed a much larger pattern of impropriety. Agents immediately raced to buy under aged local prostitutes only moments after their plane touched down in Columbia, proving they knew exactly what they were doing, exactly how to go about doing it, without any fear of reprisal.

Additionally, Secret Service supervisor David Chaney also found himself in a controversy of his own — and out of a job. Chaney, who was responsible for protecting Sarah Palin during her vice-presidential run 4 years ago, was condemned for posting to Facebook a photo of himself on duty while staring provocatively at Palin’s derriere, with the caption “I was really checking her out, if you know what I mean?”

“Well, check this out, buddy — you’re fired!” Palin retorted Thursday during a Fox News interview.

The White House has walked a fine line with this scandal, attempting to isolate and punish those rogue agents who acted inappropriately, while still fully supporting the Secret Service itself, its administrator and acknowledging the important safety the agency provides.

“How do you stand up and criticize people who have pledged to take a bullet for you?” one Obama administration official said while speaking on condition of anonymity. “How do you do that?”

"How do you stand up and criticize people who have pledged to take a bullet for you?” one Obama administration official said while speaking on condition of anonymity. “How do you do that?” And THAT right there, IMO, is the primary reason the Secret Service finds itself in the spotlight and under investigation for illegal acts and unprofessional behavior today. That sense of entitlement, and smug arrogance, *WE put our lives on the line therefore WE are above the rules.* DJ:"Their behavior while on travel duty to protect President Obama in Columbia, South America is troubling, since it appears to have exposed a much larger pattern of impropriety.
