Sexual Misconduct Allegations Gone Wild!
Is nearly everyone a predator? TAKE OUR POLL!
In October, Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was accused of the sexual harassment and/or assault of nearly 100 women over decades. Soon after, women everywhere came forward with stories of sexual misconduct from dozens of men over dozens of decades. Is everyone a sexual pervert?

The list of alleged perpetrators is staggering. Celebrities, studio executives, producers, journalists, politicians, and others have all been called out for their purported unwanted sexual overtures. For example, actor Anthony Rapp accused actor Kevin Spacey of making sexual advances toward him when he was only 14-years old. Soon after, 15 other men came forward with similar stories, prompting Spacey to out himself as gay. His hit HBO series “House of Cards” was immediately halted amid the accusations.
The stories didn’t stop there.
Political analyst Mark Halperin was accused of sexual harassment by at least a dozen women. Soon after, NBC, CNN, and other networks immediately dropped Halperin from their on-air political discussions.
Even former President George H.W. Bush, who is wheelchair bound and barely able to move, was accused of patting women on their behinds from his chair. Mr. Bush apologized to the women, saying his actions were not malicious but stemmed from his challenged inability to move his arms.
The claims against men we have all grown to admire over the years has since been dubbed the “Weinstein ripple effect.” Here is a list of the high-profile men who have been accused of sexual harassment and assault:

When asked to address the claims of sexual improprieties against them, nearly all of the men denied the accusations. However, comedian Louis C.K. bucked the trend and admitted that all claims against him were true.
“I want to address the stories told to The New York Times by five women named Abby, Rebecca, Dana, Julia who felt able to name themselves and one who did not,” the comedian said in a statement. “These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.”
With all the claims against all these men, it appears sexual perverseness has gone wild. Is nearly every well-known man we’ve ever looked up to a sexual predator? Is it possible that some of the stories we’ve heard don’t provide all the details or could have been (or at least started as) consensual? With these men being dropped like the plague from their jobs and pedestals of admiration, how do we move forward? Also, if making unwanted sexual advances toward a woman disqualifies you from most jobs, how is Donald Trump sitting in the Oval Office today??

Well DJ, I have to say you’ve certainly me a lot to think about regarding this issue because it certainly IS a problem within, I would wager, darn near every culture, community, and profession.
Btw- I noticed you didn’t include Roy Moore (Alabama Repub Senate candidate) on your list. The Washington Post broke that scandalous story 4 days ago.
Fulls story: “Woman says Roy Moore initiated sexual encounter when she was 14, he was 32”

No one with an ounce of integrity, a spec of intelligence and just plain old decency can dismiss that incredibly sourced piece of investigative journalism. And even more info has emerged since the original piece was published.
