SISTERHOOD IN THE WHITE HOUSE
Michelle Obama is by far the most powerful black woman in the White House. But she is certainly not alone. According to CNN, President Obama’s White House employs perhaps the most black women in history — women who are directly responsible for shaping some of the most important policy in America.
`
Fondly called “OBAMA’S DREAM TEAM” the President has a whopping 18 black women within his innermost circle. Among the most powerful black women in the White House are UN Ambassador Susan Rice, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, EPA Director Lisa Jackson, Domestic Policy Director Melody Barnes, and White House Social Secretary Desirée Rogers.
