This whole case is a mess. The way I heard it is Jessie got some bad advice to make up this attack so he could get attention and a better contract on Empire. It got too far out of control and he had to keep pretending the story was real because he was too far in. He wasted a lot of people’s time and Chicago PD money and they were right to make him pay all that back. But the jail thing is where they went too far. Maybe he could have got a small sentence to make a point but the six months or whatever it was for somebody with no police record was too much. It ended the way it was suppose to. He paid back a lot of money and got out of jail. His career is probably over so he is going to end up paying a bigger price than jail anyway. I think they need to let it go and move on now.

I think 90 days would have been sufficient.

“..famous”..??? No.

I’d wager most Americans still don’t know who he is other than “that Black guy” who faked his own MAGA attack.
