SNL Spoofs Alexa
For Old People

Although it’s been a tough week of political news, leave it to our friends at SNL to provide a bit of levity just when we all need it most.

Last weekend, Saturday Night Live delivered an absolutely hilarious spoof of the voice-activated Amazon Echo known as “Alexa.”  The commercial spoof presented a specialty device made specifically for an older generation who might not remember the correct name to activate the device. The Amazon Echo “Silver” will respond to ANY name a senior citizen throws its way — even if the name sounds nothing like “Alexa.”
