Latest Technology In Computers –
Solar Powered Streets?
Imagine a world with streets, highways, driveways, runways, sidewalks, parking lots and playgrounds all outfitted with solar powered materials instead of heat reflecting concrete.  That’s the energy efficient and cost saving vision one couple has for society that would move us into the “Jetsons” age and change life as we know it.

Roads that create light-emitting lanes from underneath.  Warning lights when a deer steps on to a darkened highway.  Driveways and streets that are heated and never need snow clearance during the winter months.  These are all possible with the futuristic solar powered passageways.

Proponents say building our roads with sun powered solar panels is necessary for our future advancement.  However, opponents say the current design of a glass topped road is dangerous, arguing that cars would lack the necessary traction to stop and would cause deadly accidents.

Take a look a the video below to understand the full concept.  Although the footage is a bit hokey, the message and the design are absolutely amazing!

OK WASSUP! tracks the latest technology in computers,
including the idea of solar streets, parking lots and roadways.

This is so awesome! I would love to see this technology getting implemented. It can possibly make our lives better and save us lots of money.

On the flip side, this technology may take away jobs from many workers.

This is a really wonderful invention. I think we must maximize solar energy and this technology can definitely help in that regard. I would love to see my roads powered by solar energy, particularly during winter months.

Wow! This is really amazing.

I would love to see this technology becoming common. However, I do not think this technology will become a reality for at least a few decades. Maybe 50 years later from now, we will see this kind of technology.

It will be more energy efficient and cost effective, that is for sure.
