SOUTH CAROLINA’S LT. GOV

In a Town Hall meeting last week, Republican Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer used the opportunity to compare people who take public assistance to stray animals.  Bauer said his grandmother, who was not highly educated, had told him to stop feeding stray animals “because they breed. You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a human ample food supply.”  And he only made things worse in trying to backtrack his comments on Monday.  WATCH:
