State Run News ‘Is What We Need’ Says Trump
Donald Trump has had it up to here with US media outlets reporting the real news instead of the news he wants reported — so, he’s calling for a state-run news agency to counter what he calls “fake news” from CNN and other news outlets.

“While CNN doesn’t do great in the United States based on ratings, outside of the US they have very little competition,” Trump said via Twitter. “Throughout the world, CNN has a powerful voice portraying the United States in an unfair and false way.”
He added: “Something has to be done, including the possibility of the United States starting our own Worldwide Network to show the World the way we really are, GREAT!”

Donald Trump has been involved in a long-standing feud with CNN for some time now and continues to claim that the network is an “enemy of the people.” However, Trump often speaks glowingly of Fox News, likely because they always do his bidding and are already seen by legitimate journalists as a de facto state-run news outlet.

Of course Trump will try like h*ll to play all this down. His supporters and Repub sycophants will PRETEND that none of this matters. But ALL of them (including Trump) know darn well that it’s highly likely now that Mueller has uncovered quite a bit… Read more »
