Steve Bannon ‘YOU’RE FIRED!’ … Maybe

Spread The Love

Steve Bannon…

On Friday, White House strategist and resident racist-in-chief Steve Bannon was relieved of his official duties at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  However, if you actually believe all ties between him and Donald Trump are severed, think again!

Politics
In the words of an old song: “Every Goodbye Ain’t Gone.”  Those lyrics couldn’t be more relevant than in the departure of Steve Bannon.  Or in other words, just because Bannon is gone from the Oval Office doesn’t mean he’s gone from Trump’s inner circle.  Do not be fooled.

Many believed that firing Steve Bannon would signal a fallout between him and Trump.  Many assumed that firing Steve Bannon would open the floodgates for him to sing like a canary and tell all he knows regarding Trump and his minions.  Think again!  Bannon was released to appease new WH Chief of Staff John Kelly and to derail claims that keeping Bannon around was a clear indication that Trump is a racist.  Any theory that he and “The Donald” are no longer BFF’s is a bunch of BS.

Steve Bannon

In his first interview only hours after leaving The White House and returning to his post at Breitbart News, Bannon vowed that he is not leaving to go to war with Trump, but instead to go to war on behalf of Trump.

“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon told Bloomberg on Friday.

Do not be fooled by this new strategy.

Politics
Steve Bannon Steve Bannon was not a cabinet secretary.  He did chair a presidential commission or committee.  He was an adviser who simply had Donald Trump’s ear. So, what’s stopping him from still having Trump’s ear?  He still has the ability to “advise” Trump inside or outside The White House. However, by stepping down from an official role, Bannon now has the ability to do just as he said: engage in direct fisticuffs with those GOP congressmen who publicly berate Trump; go to battle against the liberal “Fake News” media, and; join his brothers in arms in the white nationalist movement that appears to be surging.

“The populist-nationalist movement got a lot stronger today,” Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow announced with glee. “Breitbart gained an executive chairman with his finger on the pulse of the Trump agenda.”

A source close to Bannon added that Breitbart is fixing for a fight now that its leader is no longer restrained by his job in the White House.

“There is no way the outgoing adviser will go to war against Trump himself.  He will 100 percent have POTUS’ back,” the source said.

Smh…these two snakes are a hoot and holler aren’t they? /a rhetorical question

I mostly agree with DJ take on this. But because both snakes knows the other can’t be trusted I’ll wait and see just how much Bannon still has Trump’s back. There’s already talk that Ivanka and Jared (Bannon reportedly calls the pair “Javanka”) are among the names on Bannon’s “hit-list” along with “H.R. McMaster, Dina Powell. and former Goldman Sachs president, Gary Cohen.” If indeed Bannon does go after Ivanka and/or Jared that’ll take this slow-motion horror freak-show to a whole ‘nother level.

Otoh – Bannon may discover he’s NOT as powerful as he thought he was. His power may be significantly diminished as a result of what he couldn’t accomplish while in the White House. We shall see.

…..on a sidenote…… “Seven Months In And Trump’s Presidency Has Broke The Bank For The Secret Service” A large family, multiple resorts, and weekly trips away from Washington to continue living the lavish lifestyle President Trump is accustomed to – it adds up. Maybe the next time Trump decides to make a big show out of giving up his salary, he needs to give it to the Secret Service, who are assigned to protect him. According to CNBC, the well has run dry and there are no funds to pay the Secret Service. Under Trump, there are 42 agents required to be on duty, around the clock (it was 31 for Obama). Eighteen of those are Trump family members, and more than they’ve ever had to deal with. Agents are actually leaving the Secret Service because they’re overworked, and in some cases, have not been paid for the work they’ve… Read more »

I have to disagree with you on this one DJ. Trump and those fools are so unpredictable they can say one thing and do another. Bannon might have left thinking he was going to still help Trump but all that can go out the window. They could control Bannon while he was in the White House but there is no telling what he might do now that he is out. I smell trouble on this. Something is going to go wrong and all hell will break lose.
