Stevie Stands For Trayvon
R&B legend Stevie Wonder has long been a champion of civil rights and causes affecting humanity and is not stopping now.
Wonder stood against apartheid when Nelson Mandela was still behind bars in a South African jail. Wonder boycotted the State of Arizona when it refused to join the 49 other American states in honoring the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a national holiday. Now, Wonder is standing up for Trayvon Martin.
During a live concert in Quebec, Canada, Wonder made a surprising announcement: Until Florida demolishes its controversial “Stand Your Ground” law (which a Zimmerman juror admitted played into their decision to acquit him), he will no longer perform in that state. In fact, Wonder made it crystal clear that he will never perform ANYWHERE on the planet that permits such a law.

When Stevie, Al , Jesse Sr., Melissa, Tavis et al can explain to me WHY? the… Read more »
